WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK
What did you think of the Anthem? The Bunting? The Exhibition? The Flower Stave Workshops? The Brochure? We are putting together a report for our funders - your feedback would be very helpful. It may even help us secure funding for future community projects. If you have any comments you would like to share, please email admin@hipandharmony.co.uk. Thank you!
About The Heritage Project
Community groups, local organisations, schools and local authorities joined forces with Neston Female Society to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Neston Ladies (Club) Day in 2014.
The Walk took place on Thursday 5th June. In the run-up to this auspicious occasion, Hip & Harmony CIC co-ordinated a Heritage Project that sought to involve anyone in the local community who wished to take part.
In addition to the creation of this website, there is a Commemorative Brochure, an Anthem written and recorded by local children, new Bunting for the town centre using designs by school children, a Play - A Walk Through Time - written and performed by Neston Players, a Reminiscence and Research project leading to an Exhibition in the town centre and Flower Stave workshops.
There are links to all the project elements below and via the menu above - thank you to everyone for joining in to celebrate and ensure the continuation of this centuries old, unique tradition.
